Are the safes fireproof?
Some of our safes are fireproof and some are not.  Those that are will specifically have the word "fireproof" in the product features list when viewing the product on the website.  If a safe is fireproof, the feature list will also say how long the safe will protect its contents in a fire.

Can the safes be bolted to the floor or to a wall?
Most of our safes come with pre-drilled holes which will allow you to easily bolt it to the wall or the floor. HOWEVER, most fire proof safes can not have holes is the safe as that would reduce the fire protection. To bolt these safes in we suggest using a silicon-based glue to glue them to the floor.

Are bolts included with the safe?
Yes.  All of our safes that can be bolted to the floor or to the wall are included.

Are the locks weather proof?

Yes. All of our locks are built to be installed on either inside or outside doors. They are designed to endure all outside weather conditions.

How do I know whether to order a right-side lock or a left-side lock?

Look at your door from the OUTSIDE of the room or building. If the door HINGES are on the right side of the door you need a RIGHT-SIDE door lock. If the door HINGES are on the left side of the door you need a LEFT-SIDE lock.

Will the lock move to the locked position automatically when closed?

This depends on the lock. Some will default to the locked position automatically, some will default to the open position automatically and some will allow the user to set the default position. Please see the feature list for each lock on this website to see what default settings are available.

Will these locks fit a storm door?

These locks will fit some storm doors and not others. If the storm door has a handle that is like a typical non-storm door with a regular lockset then these locks will work. However, if the storm door has a light weight aluminum handle latch these will not work.

What is the range?
The wireless cameras come with different ranges are clearly noted in the feature list of each camera on this website.  The ranges noted in the feature lists are the maximum ranges for each camera in an unobstructed line-of-sight.  If the cameras are transmitting through walls, the range will decrease from the maximum. 

Can the cameras transmit through walls?
Yes.  The cameras are designed to go through walls made of most materials.  The thicker the wall and the more obstructive the material the greater the decreas in range for each camera.
